offers Thermochromic Paint. This is a microcapsule’s product, which changes color according to the temperature. The Thermochromic dye causes the change of color by the heat-induced chemical structure change. Since it's very sensitive to the external environment, it's made as a microcapsule type product for protection and thus its repetitive durability is increased. Our NON-TOXIC Themochromic Paints have various colors and activation temperatures.
When the temperature rises over certain degree, the paint turns from one color to another or from color to colorless (translucent white). But the process is reversible- when it gets cold, the paint turns back to its original color. It could be used again and again. During the Summer, you may receive your Thermochromic Paint different color because it already activated the color changing effect due to the hot temperatures outside and during the delivery process. Place it in your refrigerator and the color will turn back to original.
Thermochromic Paint
comes pre-mixed, ready to use. It could be applied with a regular paintbrush, the stencil method or screen printed. It comes with special instructions for use. It should NOT be thinned and water should
never be used to dilute the paint.
Warning: Thermochromic Paint should not be freeze or exposed to temperatures over 360 Fahrenheit, or 182 Celsius or strong UV light such as direct sunlight and the overuse of solvents like acetone because it may cause fading. Recommended for indoor use! If you want to use it outdoor, you can apply UV protection coat.
NOTE: Colors may not appear exactly as seen on photo in real life due to variations between the computer monitors and naked eye color difference.
