The Trinitarians 'PRAYER BEFORE A CRUCIFIX' Prayer Card
Features Jesus on the cross with blood dripping from his side, hands and feet.
The back of the card reads, in part:
Look down upon me, good and
gentle Jesus, while before Your face I
humbly kneel; and with burning soul
I pray and beseech You to fix deep in
my heart lively sentiments of Faith,
Hope and Charity; true contrition for
my sins and a firm purpose of
amendment. I contemplate with
great love and tender pity Your five
wounds, pondering upon them
within me, calling to mind the words
which David Your prophet said to
You, my Jesus, "They have pierced
My hands and My feet; they have
numbered all My bones."
The card is dated 2001.
Measures approx 5" H x 3" W.
Good condition.
This prayer card shows some minor wear. It has a few minor stray black/brown marks on it and it has yellowed a bit. No tears. There is a minor approx 1" vertical crease on the front bottom near the center and some minor 'scratches'.
