Costa Line: An eight-page brochure with color interior photos and deck plans for the ANDREA C.
The ship's stylish mid-century modern interiors are showcased with views of the Varazze Lounge, Sunn Deck, Bar, a blue and yellow cabin, Card Room, Chapel, Viareggio Dining Room, Riccione Dining Room, two different cabins with bunks, Rimini Lounge, and Swimming Pool.
The ANDREA C was a former WW2 British supply ship that was sunk during the invasion of Sicily in 1943. The ship was raised and eventually sold to Costa to be rebuilt as an immigrant ship for South American service.
A big 1959 retrofit added the raked bow and bigger funnel casing shown in the cover profile. In the 1960s the ship was used more and more for cruising which culminated in another extensive retrofit in 1970. The ship sailed until the early 1980s.
